The World Science Festival is proud to announce a compelling new work, Dear Albert, that paints a vivid portrait of this giant in the pantheon of great scientists.
Written by Emmy Award-winner and Academy and Tony Award-nominee Alan Alda, directed by Tony Award-winning director Daniel Sullivan and featuring Tony Award-winning actor Anthony LaPaglia, Dear Albert delves into the treasure trove of letters written by Einstein, his wives and his friends. Presented as a reading, the event traces an intimate and unfamiliar line across his life and work and sheds light upon his momentous scientific insights through first-hand accounts of ground-breaking discoveries.
Dear Albert will take place at Columbia University’s Miller Theatre on
Sunday, June 1, from 7 to 8:30 PM.
